Salamah technical reports for licence renewal

Many commercial licences can only be renewed once a licensed consultant confirms the premises meet the fire code. We inspect, tell you what to fix, and issue the technical report on Salamah.

What the report covers

The report is an SBC 801 compliance check of the premises, issued by Plintora as a Civil Defence licensed consultant (Ref. 100001087).

  • Occupancy classification and occupant load
  • Exits, exit doors and escape routes
  • Exit signs and emergency lighting
  • Fire detection and alarm
  • Portable fire extinguishers
  • Storage, electrical and housekeeping risks

How it works

Five steps from your first message to the issued report.

  1. Send your details

Commercial registration, location, the activity on the licence, and a floor plan or photos of the space.

  2. Site visit

An engineer inspects the premises against SBC 801 with a field checklist and a photo record.

  3. List of fixes

You receive a short, clear list of what must change: extinguishers, signs, lighting, detection, exits.

  4. Close-out visit

We return to confirm the fixes are done and close the observations.

  5. Report issued

The technical report is issued on Salamah so the licence application can move forward.

What to send us

Having these ready makes the visit quicker. Photos from your phone are fine.

  • Commercial registration and the current licence details
  • Lease contract (Ejar) or title deed for the premises
  • Floor plan, or a sketch with dimensions and area
  • Photos of the space, the entrance and the exits
  • Certificates for any installed fire systems
  • Contact person on site for the visit

Questions about Salamah reports

Who needs a Salamah technical report?

Shops, offices, showrooms, clinics, workshops and similar premises whose Balady licence renewal asks for a fire safety technical report. The Salamah platform shows whether your licence needs one.

What do inspectors usually find?

The most common gaps are missing or wrong-type extinguishers, exit signs without battery backup, blocked or locked exits, no emergency lighting, and missing detection in storage rooms. Most are quick to fix.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size of the premises and how many fixes are needed. Tell us the activity and area and we will give you a timeline before we start.

Do you also fix the items on the list?

We are consultants, so we tell you exactly what is needed and check it once done. We can recommend contractors and suppliers if you need them.

Need the report for your licence?

Send the commercial registration number, location and a few photos. We will tell you what is needed and when we can visit.
